What does DMARC do?
DMARC ties SPF and DKIM together with alignment, tells receivers what to do when a message fails (none/quarantine/reject), and sends you reports on who is mailing as your domain.
Is p=none enough?
No. p=none only monitors - it doesn't stop spoofing. It's a fine starting point, but move to quarantine then reject once your reports look clean.
